Tutoring + Workshops
Group Tutoring Workshops
We offer small group tutoring workshops with a max of 6 students. Here the students focus on Literacy, Numeracy or a common focus (ie Selective Schools or NAPLAN). Groups are broken up into Stages (Stage 1, Stage 2 & Stage 3). Peer learning can be very valuable where students can involve themselves in social situations, discuss ideas and engage in communication skills.
1:1 Tutoring
We offer 1:1 tutoring where we can focus on a particular need or topic for that student. We can work in communication with the classroom teacher to help pre-teach any difficult topics so the student is confident when this is taught in the classroom. We can also help extend students that are looking to be challenged more with their learning.
Focus Workshops
Kinder Readiness - Term 4, Selective Schools Preparation Term 1, Year 3 & Year 5 NAPLAN Preparation - End of Term 1/ Term 2, Year 7 Mathematics - all year round
Parent / Carer Support
Often parents can become overwhelmed with knowing how they can best support their child. As an experienced classroom teacher, I am available to talk through these needs with parents and offer any services to help support both child and parent. This can be particularly important after a diagnosis and knowing how to best support your child and what facilities are available.
Creative Kids - Creative Minds Workshops
We are a provider for Service NSW Creative Kids Vouchers. This voucher can be used for any Literacy Creative Writing Workshops and our Creative Kids - Creative Minds Workshops. We offer a variety of fun workshops such as Candle Making, Cricut Workshops, Cake Decorating, Mosaic Workshops, Sand art, holiday themed workshops such as Easter, Mother's Day and Father's Day.
